Broadway Babies and Kids - Studio Manager Status: Non-Exempt | Part Time

Primary Function/Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Performing Arts Studio Manager to lead our vibrant studio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring the success of the studio, managing a team of dedicated instructors, and fostering a positive and thriving environment for both staff and students. The Studio Manager will be instrumental in driving business growth, managing financial aspects, and maintaining a high standard of excellence in all aspects of the studio's operations.

Job Duties

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, inspire, and manage a team of dance instructors and Student Success Advisors.

  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages creativity, professional development, and teamwork.

Operations Management:

  • Oversee the overall success of the studio, ensuring all activities align with the studio's mission and objectives.

  • Develop and implement efficient operational processes to enhance studio productivity and effectiveness.

  • Manage payroll and human resources functions, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Financial Management:

  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, including profit and loss statements, to ensure the studio's financial health.

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, control costs, and maximize profitability.

Customer Relations:

  • Maintain excellent relationships with students, parents, and the community to enhance the studio's reputation and foster a positive studio culture.

  • Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and effectively.

Marketing and Promotion:

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and implement effective marketing and promotional strategies to attract and retain students.

  • Participate in community events to promote the studio and engage with potential students.

Your Experience

Experience:

  • 5+ years of previous experience as a store manager, school manager, theater company manager or in a similar leadership role is required.

  • Proven track record of success in managing teams and achieving business objectives.

  • Previous experience as a professional performing artist preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, arts administration, or a related field is preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in financial management and experience with payroll systems.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Proficient in Google Suite and other relevant software.
